HTGP's managing partner, Chris Lewis, has been working in financial services for over two decades and is an alumnus of the University of Virginia and Harvard Business School.
After starting his career with American Express Financial Advisors, Chris concluded it would be prudent to first focus on building his own wealth and family before advising others.
Over the next fifteen years, Chris worked in a variety of operating roles. His longest tenure was with SNL Financial, a data and analytics platform, where he ultimately led a large global team.
In 2015, anticipating the liquidity event that was SNL's $2.25B sale to S&P Global, Chris formed HTGP. Chris has been managing investments and tracking performance through HTGP ever since.
During the COVID shutdown, Chris decided it was time to return to wealth management. He worked to become a licensed advisor, and starting in early 2021, hung his license with Kuleana Capital Management (KCM), a boutique hedge fund.
In 2026, HTGP filed to become a registered investment advisor (RIA), enabling Chris to advise more broadly on a diverse set of asset classes and strategies. KCM remains a strategic partner.
